Knut Hansen Gin was launched in 2017 by friends Kaspar Kagedorn and Martin Spiek who began experimenting with recipes in 2016 using a table-top still in Martin’s living room. The first batches were distilled at Dollerup Distillery before Kaspar and Martin established Hamburg Distillery and began distilling in-house in 2019. Their gin is inspired by and named after the legendary German sailor and explorer, Knut Hansen, who was from Hamburg and is depicted on the ceramic bottles.
Tasting Notes:?Bold aromas of juniper, apple sweetness and a herbal note.???Refreshing, subtly sweet and fruity on the palate with juniper & herbaceous notes. A lingering finish with subtle sweetness, juniper, apple and liquorice.
